Guidelines for Users:
The Yale Medical Image Teaching Collection is provided pro bono
to the wider academic medical community. The teaching collection
consists of medical illustrations by YSM
MedMedia Group's Director Patrick J. Lynch, and diagnostic
images contributed by YSM faculty. These images may be used
for nonprofit teaching purposes so long as their source is credited.
Copyright of these images is retained by Yale School of Medicine
and may be used only for academic presentation and teaching.
Any usage in for-profit purposes is not allowed. Requests for
using these images in nonprofit print publications may be addressed
to the site
editor.
Getting Started:
You can browse through thumbnail images by Keyword/Category
from the list at right or search by a specific keyword from
the Quick Search box. Clicking on a thumbnail image will display
the full size image with a description. To use a fillsize image
in PowerPoint or other presentation media, right-click (PC)
or control-click (Mac) and save the image from from your browser's
pop-up menu. You can also save a collection of images by using
the Add to Selects check boxes under the thumbnails together
with the Add and Show submit buttons at the bottom of the thumbnail
pages.
Browser Requirements:
This site is optimized for a 1024 x 768 display with a least
16 bit high color or thousands of colors. Please use Netscape
4.7x or Internet Explorer 5x or higher. You must have JavaScript
enabled in order to view the larger images. You must have Cookies
enabled in order to create and view your own image collections.
